What we are looking for

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled, self-driven Lead Hyperion EPM & BI Infrastructure Administrator with over 10 years of hands-on experience to own, architect, and single handedly manage our enterprise financial systems and business intelligence infrastructure. In this role, you will be the sole point of contact and technical leader responsible for the installation, configuration, optimization, security, and migration of our Oracle Hyperion EPM Suite, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).

You will bring deep technical expertise in administering workloads in AWS Cloud, configuring highly secure Single Sign On (SSO) via Shibboleth, and maintaining high availability through custom Apache Load Balancing topologies.

Key Responsibilities

- End to End Environment Management: Single handedly install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle Hyperion EPM (v11.2+), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
- Administer Hyperion Foundation Services, Shared Services, Essbase, Planning, ODI , OAS & other internal third party tools & Applications.
- Handle OBIEE/OAS server maintenance, repository (RPD) deployments, security configurations, and configure ODI agents, master/work repositories, and topology executions.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (MaxL, CLI, ESSCMD, Windows batch, Python, Unix shell) to automate regular maintenance, data/metadata loads,



backups, and environment syncs.
- Manage and tune underlying SQL Server databases and Oracle WebLogic Application Servers hosting the middleware

Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure (AWS)
- Configure, scale, and optimize AWS resources including EC2, S3, EBS, EFS, VPCs, and Security Groups.
- Use CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible to build, document, and provision environment stacks programmatically.
- Disaster Recovery (DR): Establish multi AZ high availability, backup policies, AMI custom images, snapshots, and rapid recovery strategies

Web Tier, Load Balancing & Security (Apache & Shibboleth)
- Web Server Customization: Install, configure, and harden Apache HTTP Server / Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) as the entry point reverse proxy.
- Apache Load Balancing: Configure advanced, sticky session based load balancing using Apache module proxies to distribute traffic across clustered WebLogic JVMs.
- Shibboleth SSO Integration: Single handedly implement, configure, and troubleshoot SAML header based Single Sign On (SSO) utilizing Shibboleth Identity Provider (IdP) integration with EPM/OAS/other Third party tools & Applications.
- User & Certificate Governance: Manage SSL/TLS certificates across Apache servers, AWS Load Balancers, and WebLogic keystores.

Special Focus: Vulnerability Monitoring, Tracking & Remediation
- Review and execute quarterly Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPUs) and monthly Critical Security Patch Updates (CSPUs) for Essbase 21c, WebLogic, Hyperion, and Java SE to address critical remote code execution (RCE) and takeover vulnerabilities (such as historical flaws like CVE 2021 2109 or current high severity targets).
- Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities in our DMZ web layer. Implement secure configurations, update Apache load balancers, enforce TLS protocol standards, and patch server side request.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

Must Have Experience

- 10+ years of professional experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Essbase, and BI middleware infrastructure administration.




- Hands on experience with Essbase 21c, specifically configuring independent/standalone instances on top of Fusion Middleware WebLogic infrastructure.
- Proven history of handling large scale infrastructure projects single handedly, from architecture design through to post go live support.
- Production experience hosting enterprise workloads on AWS Cloud (utilizing EC2, VPC, EFS, and EBS).
- High level of expertise configuring Apache Load Balancing with WebLogic cluster plugins.
- Deep understanding of Shibboleth SSO, SAML protocol, and security certificate (SSL) management.
- Complete familiarity with ODI and OAS console, agent, and repository administration.
