Role Overview

Dayananda Sagar University is looking for a agile and target-oriented International Admissions Sales professional to support student recruitment and admissions under the International Affairs Department.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, student admissions, counselling or business development, with strong communication skills and the ability to convert prospective student enquiries into successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate, manage and follow up on enquiries from prospective international students through calls, emails and digital channels.
- Promote the University’s academic programmes and explain admission requirements, eligibility criteria, tuition fees and application procedures.
- Counsel prospective students and guide them through the admission process, from initial enquiry to application and enrolment.
- Convert prospective student leads into applications and confirmed admissions by conducting timely and effective follow-ups.
- Work towards assigned sales targets and international student recruitment goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with students, parents, education consultants and recruitment partners.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing of student applications and admission documentation.




- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, applications and conversions in the CRM or admission portal.
- Respond promptly and professionally to prospective students’ queries and provide accurate admission-related information.
- Monitor lead progress and maintain a structured follow-up pipeline to improve enquiry-to-admission conversion.
- Support student recruitment campaigns, virtual counselling sessions, webinars and other promotional activities.
- Provide a positive candidate experience and represent the University professionally in all student interactions.

Qualification & Experience

- Any degree from a recognised university.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in sales, admissions, student counselling, business development or a related role.
- Experience in university admissions or the education sector will be an advantage.
- Strong sales orientation with the ability to generate leads, conduct follow-ups and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to build relationships with students, parents and education consultants from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in email, MS Office and CRM or admission management tools.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, organisation and time-management skills, with a target-driven approach.
