About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Orthopaedic Wards nursing team. You will play a key role in delivering safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care to a defined group of patients from admission to discharge.

Working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence‑based care,



ensuring patients and their families feel informed, supported and involved throughout their journey.

• Deliver high‑standard, evidence‑based nursing care in line with NMC and NHS Scotland standards
• Organise and prioritise your workload to meet the needs of patients effectively
• Work within legal, ethical and professional frameworks, promoting patient safety and wellbeing
• Support junior staff and students, contributing to mentorship, preceptorship and career development programmes
• Use sound clinical judgement in assessing patient conditions and responding appropriately
• Participate in audit, research, clinical governance and service improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection standards
