Preferred Candidate Profile
A highly proactive procurement professional with 10–15 years of experience in Industrial Automation and Electrical industries, possessing solid commercial acumen, sound product knowledge of Automation and HT/LT electrical systems, Substations, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to independently manage end-to-end procurement operations while supporting organizational growth and project execution.

Job Purpose
The Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing the complete procurement lifecycle for industrial automation projects and operational requirements. The role involves sourcing, vendor management, price negotiations, procurement planning, purchase order management, delivery follow-up, and ensuring timely availability of materials while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance.




The incumbent shall play a key role in supporting project execution by procuring automation, electrical, instrumentation, and related industrial products from approved suppliers and OEMs.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Procurement Management
• Handle complete procurement activities from receipt of material requisitions to final delivery of materials.
• Review and understand technical specifications, BOMs, drawings, and project requirements.
• Prepare RFQs and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers.
• Evaluate commercial and technical aspects of supplier quotations.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and commercial conditions.
• Generate and release Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procedures.
• Track procurement status and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Vendor Management
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and suppliers.
