Role Description The Branch Manager role is a full-time on-site position based in Siliguri.

The Branch

Manager will oversee branch operations, ensure compliance with company policies, and drive sales of life insurance products across various customer segments.

Responsibilities include managing and mentoring the branch team, setting and monitoring performance targets, and building strong relationships with customers and local partners. The role involves planning and executing business development activities, analyzing market trends,



and implementing strategies to increase branch profitability and customer satisfaction.

Manager will also handle reporting, review service quality, and coordinate with regional and corporate teams to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in branch management, sales leadership, or retail financial services, preferably in insurance or banking.
- Solid skills in team supervision, performance management, and staff development to lead and motivate a diverse branch team.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management, negotiation, and handling escalations to ensure high service standards.
- Ability to analyze business performance metrics, prepare reports, and use data to drive operational and sales decisions.
- Solid understanding of life insurance products, financial planning concepts, and regulatory guidelines (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications is an advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business in a competitive market environment.
- Comfort working in an on-site branch setting in Siliguri, with adaptability and a customer-focused mindset.
