Role Description- Long Term Paid Internship ( 4 to 6 Months) – will work on legal research, drafting, and analysis related to cross-border legal issues and matters involving foreign elements, under the supervision of senior lawyers.

- International family law - Divorce, Child Custody, and other related issues,
- Domestic and international arbitration
- International taxation law- Avoidance of Double Taxation

. Private International Law - Internaitonal Contracts

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing legal documents, case notes, and opinions; assisting in the preparation of briefs and submissions; and supporting courtroom and client work as required. The role involves coordinating with teams handling constitutional, civil, criminal, banking, and taxation matters where private international law issues arise. The position is a full-time,



on-site role based in New Delhi, requiring regular collaboration with colleagues, participation in client meetings, and contribution to the firm’s knowledge-building activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Law, with a particular interest in private international law and related cross-border legal issues.
- Candidates should possess skills in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting petitions, contracts, opinions, and research notes.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for interpreting statutes, case law, and international instruments, and for developing reasoned legal arguments.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication abilities, including clear written and verbal communication with courts, colleagues, and clients.
- Candidates should possess the ability to identify, assess, and address complex Legal Issues across multiple practice areas. Students pursuing an LL.B. or LL.M. who can commit to an internship of at least six months.
