• Re-assessing existing/planned wind farms with an internal tool chain confirming the compatibility of certain upgrades and the turbine specific structural integrity
• This task includes assessment of site-specific wind conditions (Wind & site recheck), application of mechanical load mitigation strategies, running bucket approaches, assessing the possibility for lifetime extension, approval processes and writing reports
• Support the upgrades sales by creating benefit calculations, driving validation campaigns and initiate the implementation of upgrades
• Work together with our global service regions and our after sales colleagues to convince customers and their stakeholders such as grid operators or authorities and enable a successful product sale
• Have a measurable impact on the business performance of the global Service business unit
• Build up a large network within the company and the industry to be up to date on new technological developments
• Represent the team in strategic discussions and development decision meetings meetings
YOUR PROFILE
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering,Project Management or related field
• 5 to 10 years of experience in wind & site assessments, mechanical loads department or equal technical service organisations in the wind energy industry
• Highly analytical with a holistic approach and robust problem solving skills
• Self-driven, focused and pragmatic with demonstrated ability to bring topics to success in a complex environment
• Fluent in English, while German would be an advantage
