Job Summary

Pepper Kid is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely completion of financial transactions and reports. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, positive analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting records and ensure accurate entry of all financial transactions.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, receipts, and payment records.
Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations regularly.
Monitor expenses, income, and cash flow.
Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales, and other business transactions.
Ensure timely processing of vendor payments and customer collections.
Assist with GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
Coordinate with auditors, vendors,



and other departments regarding accounting matters.
Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
Proficiency in Tally or other accounting software and MS Excel.
Positive numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
Positive communication and organizational skills.
