role & responsibility:
Design and analyze PEB structures including:
Industrial buildings
Warehouses
Factories
Commercial buildings
Aircraft hangars and sheds
Perform structural calculations for:
Primary framing
Secondary members (purlins, girts, eave struts)
Bracing systems
Connections and anchor bolts
Prepare design reports and calculation sheets.
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes such as:
IS 800
IS 875
IS 1893
MBMA/AISC (where applicable)
Optimize steel quantities to achieve cost-effective designs.
Review fabrication and erection drawings prepared by detailers.
Coordinate with sales, estimation, production, and project teams.
Resolve technical queries from clients and site teams.
Support value engineering and design improvements.
Maintain project schedules and meet design deadlines.
Participate in design reviews and quality assurance activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
6 years of experience in PEB design (depending on level).
Robust knowledge of steel structure design principles.
Familiarity with Indian and international design codes.
