Role & responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Ledgers: Maintain the general ledger, process journal entries (accruals, prepayments, provisions), and keep proper records of financial vouchers and transactions.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Handle vendor payments, customer invoicing, and manage collection or settlement processes.
Reconciliations: Perform regular bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.
Statutory & Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation and filing of statutory returns, including GST, TDS, and income tax.
Reporting & Audits: Support month-end and year-end closing, assist with basic financial statements, and provide documentation for internal or statutory audits.
Payroll & Expenses: Coordinate with HR to process employee payroll, advantages, and expense reimbursements

Preferred candidate profile Knowledge of Advance Excel, Tally, other accounting software. High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and basic understanding of local tax regulations
