Role : Accounts & Purchase Executive

Location : Pawne, Navi Mumbai

Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Finance Duties
Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor, supplier, and service provider invoices after matching them against Purchase Orders (POs) and Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
Transaction Recording: Log daily financial transactions (purchases, receipts, payments, and general ledger entries) accurately in accounting software.
Compliance & Tax: Handle basic Indian statutory requirements such as GST verification, TDS calculations on vendor payments, and reconciliation of ledger accounts.
Payment Coordination: Prepare payment runs, follow up on credit terms, and resolve billing discrepancies with vendors.
Purchase & Procurement Duties
Indent & Quotation Processing: Convert department requisitions (indents) into vendor inquiries, collect comparative quotations, and evaluate price, quality, and lead times.
Purchase Orders (POs): Generate and issue formal Purchase Orders according to company approval matrices.
Vendor Management: Maintain Approved Vendor Lists (AVL),



negotiate pricing/discounts, and build reliable supplier relationships.
Order Tracking & Logistics: Follow up on pending deliveries, track shipments, handle e-way bills/invoices, and resolve short-shipments or quality rejections.
Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels with the warehouse team to prevent material shortages or overstocking.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting or procurement (preferably in an SME, manufacturing, or trading setup).
Technical Software Skills: Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics), and advanced MS Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, data comparison).
Domain Knowledge: Basic understanding of GST/TDS compliance, reconciliation, and supply chain/procurement processes.
Soft Skills: Negotiation ability, attention to detail, time management, and cross-departmental communication
