Role: You will help run large capital projects (especially in mining, utilities, oil & gas or broader ENR) better (through schedules, cost control, risk management and digital tools), and deliver clear, high-quality analysis and recommendations to clients.
Job Responsibility:
Program governance & PMO operations: You help set up or improve the way big projects are managed (called a PMO – Project Management Office).
This includes
Creating clear rules for how decisions are made, how changes are approved, who is responsible for what, and how issues get escalated
Building and analysing the overall project schedule (called Integrated Master Schedule)
Running “what-if” scenarios to see how delays or changes will affect the timeline
Cost & performance controls: You track money and progress on the project.
You will
Build analyses that show whether the project is over budget or behind schedule (using tools like Earned Value Management)
Create simple,
explicit dashboards for senior client leaders so they can quickly see the health of the project and make decisions
Risk & safety management You help the team understand and manage risks.
This means
Maintaining risk registers
Calculating the impact of risks
Suggesting ways to reduce or prepare for them
Turning this analysis into practical recommendations the team can present to the client
Digital & advanced analytics You use contemporary digital tools to improve project delivery.
This includes:
Helping design how digital tools (like 5D BIM – which links cost and schedule to 3D models) will be used
Running advanced schedule and risk simulations (Monte Carlo, scenario planning, etc.)
Building Power BI or Tableau dashboards (control towers)
Testing AI tools that can speed up work and leave the client with practical assets they can reuse later
