We are hiring a Data Analyst on behalf of our client. This is a remote role, so you can work from anywhere. You will collect, analyze, and interpret data to uncover insights that drive smarter business decisions. Role & responsibilities
Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data
Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
Create charts and visualizations to present findings clearly to stakeholders
Track key business metrics (KPIs) and share regular performance reports
Support business teams by answering data-related questions and ad-hoc requests
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reports
Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams through online tools
Document data processes, definitions, and reporting standards

Mentor junior analysts and independently own end-to-end reporting projects

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field
Freshers: Basic knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data visualization; internships or academic projects are a plus
Experienced (0 to 2 years): Hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard building
Solid knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data
Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
Experience or familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
Positive understanding of statistics and data interpretation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, able to explain insights to non-technical teams
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Comfortable with video meetings and online collaboration tools
Secure internet connection and own laptop
