Sentient Industries Pvt Ltd is a growing organization with a strong focus on technology and data-driven operations. We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Data Collectors and help us build accurate, reliable data systems.
Job Summary The Data Collector will be responsible for gathering, entering, verifying, and organizing data from various sources. The role suits candidates who are comfortable with computers, have an interest in IT, and take pride in accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Collect data from assigned sources, records, documents, and digital platforms
Enter data accurately and promptly into computer systems, spreadsheets, and databases
Verify and cross-check collected data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Update and maintain existing records and databases
Identify and report errors, duplicates, or inconsistencies in data
Organize and categorize data in a structured format for easy retrieval
Prepare basic reports and summaries as required by supervisors
Maintain confidentiality and security of company and client data
Meet daily and weekly targets for data collection and entry
Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
Eligibility and Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
Good working knowledge of computers and the internet
Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS Word
Good typing speed with high accuracy
Interest in IT, data entry operations, and data collection
Desired Skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic understanding of databases and data management
Positive communication skills (English and Hindi preferred)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valuable time management and the ability to meet deadlines
Willingness to learn recent tools and software
Honesty, discipline, and a responsible work attitude
Experience
Freshers: Welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
Experienced: Prior experience in data entry, data collection, or back-office operations is an advantage.
