Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) for a Credit Underwriter role in Delhi on a full-time, 6-month assignment. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating credit proposals, assessing the financial health of borrowers, analysing credit risks, and providing recommendations to support informed lending decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Analyse financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements to assess borrowers' creditworthiness.
Evaluate credit proposals, loan applications, and financial documents.
Conduct financial and risk analysis to identify potential credit risks.
Assess repayment capacity, debt obligations, liquidity, and overall financial stability.
Review financial ratios, credit history, and relevant supporting documents.
Prepare credit assessment reports and underwriting recommendations.
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, risk guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Identify red flags, discrepancies, and potential risks in credit applications.




Coordinate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders for credit assessment and approval.
Maintain accurate documentation and records of credit underwriting decisions.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
Solid knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and financial modelling.
Understanding of lending processes, credit appraisal, and underwriting principles.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
Valuable communication and stakeholder management abilities.
