Role & responsibilities
Operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) on a daily basis.
Monitor ETP parameters such as pH, TSS, COD, BOD, and other relevant parameters.
Ensure proper dosing of chemicals and maintain chemical consumption records.
Monitor pumps, blowers, agitators, clarifiers, filters, and other ETP equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and identify operational issues.
Maintain ETP logbooks, records, and daily operational reports.
Coordinate with the laboratory team for water and effluent testing.
Ensure treated effluent meets applicable environmental standards.
Handle sludge management and disposal activities as per guidelines.
Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards around the ETP area.
Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Ensure compliance with company EHS and environmental procedures.
Support documentation required for regulatory and environmental compliance.
