Role & responsibilities

Own the journey, end to end - Design (and keep improving) the experiences that help people choose confidently discovery, comparisons, buying guides, trade-ins, offers, guided selling and then support them long after purchase, through delivery, warranty, repairs, service requests, and upgrades.

Make personalization real - Push for sign-in strategies people actually want to use, so we can make discovery, offers, and recommendations feel relevant instead of generic.

Treat affordability and fulfilment as design problems, not just features - Financing, trade-in, offers, and payment flexibility should feel like one connected story. Same with delivery express, pickup, standard communicated clearly and early, not buried at checkout.

Build the system, not just the screens - Create a design system that's modular and reusable enough to support what we're building today and whatever we build next including scaling from web to app.

Run the agency relationship - Own the SOW, plan the work, review what comes back, give sharp feedback, and keep things moving without babysitting.





Keep it real for every screen size, every ability, every channel Responsive, accessible, and genuinely omnichannel not retrofitted after the fact.

Preferred candidate profile
A solid portfolio in e-commerce or high-traffic consumer platforms not just pretty screens, but journeys that convert and retain
Real experience managing external agencies SOWs, reviews, approvals, the whole cycle
Comfort designing beyond the buy button” — post-purchase, service, and lifecycle experiences
A track record of building and governing design systems at scale
Sharp instincts for checkout, payments, and offer/financing UX
The communication chops to hold your own with senior stakeholders, liaising between internal team like Product team, Communication team and more.
Figma fluency (or equivalent)

Bonus points: retail/consumer electronics background, experience with loyalty programs, or exposure to warranty/protection-plan type journeys.
