Ingrain is looking for a Junior Architect to support the design team in developing architectural concepts, preparing working drawings and coordinating project documentation. The ideal candidate should have a positive understanding of architectural design, technical drawings and construction details.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing architectural concepts, layouts, floor plans, elevations and sections.
Prepare architectural working drawings and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop 3D models and design presentations using relevant architectural software.
Coordinate with senior architects and consultants to incorporate design changes.
Assist in material selection, detailing and preparation of project documentation.
Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions and compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate with site teams and participate in site visits whenever required.
Maintain updated drawings and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Support the team in resolving design and technical issues during project development.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an architectural firm.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Working knowledge of SketchUp and other 3D visualisation software.
Understanding of architectural drawings, construction details and building materials.
Positive design sense, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Solid communication, coordination and teamwork skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage assigned tasks within deadlines.
