Orchid Medicity, Malappuram, is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Medical Records Technician to join our Medical Records Department (MRD). The ideal candidate should have experience in managing hospital medical records, maintaining documentation accuracy, and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain, organize, and update patient medical records.
Handle filing, indexing, scanning, and retrieval of medical documents.
Manage medical records related to OP, IP, admissions, and discharges.
Verify the completeness and accuracy of patient documentation.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient medical information.
Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other hospital departments.
Assist with medical record audits, reports, and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
Any degree from a recognized institution.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Medical Records Department (MRD).
Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experience: Minimum 1 year in MRD.
