Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, administer, and maintain MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
Perform database patching, version upgrades, security updates, and vulnerability remediation.
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries and database operations.
Manage database backup, restoration, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
Perform routine database health checks, user access management, and security configuration.
Troubleshoot database incidents and ensure database availability, stability, and reliability.
Maintain database documentation and follow change management procedures.
Required Skills:
Hands-on experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL database administration.
Experience in database patching, upgrades, and security updates.
Knowledge of database backup, recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Understanding of database security, user management, and access controls.
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting is preferred.
