We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to manage day-to-day production activities involving fabrication, mechanical assembly and related manufacturing operations. The candidate should have robust shop-floor experience, team-handling skills and the ability to achieve production and delivery targets.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily production planning and execution for fabrication and assembly operations.
Ensure production targets, product quality and delivery schedules are achieved.
Supervise shop-floor workers, supervisors and production teams.
Monitor manpower and machine utilization to improve productivity.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Purchase teams for smooth production.
Identify production bottlenecks, reduce rework and minimize material wastage.
Ensure work is carried out as per engineering drawings and required specifications.
Maintain production reports and monitor key performance indicators.
Ensure workplace safety,
discipline and proper housekeeping.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience in fabrication and mechanical assembly operations.
Valuable understanding of production planning and shop-floor management.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience in manpower handling, productivity improvement and quality control.
Robust coordination, problem-solving and team-management skills.
Preferred candidate profile
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
1015 years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly or heavy engineering.
Candidates with experience managing end-to-end shop-floor production will be preferred.
Candidates with practical manufacturing experience and a strong focus on production output, quality and timely delivery are encouraged to apply
