Job Purpose To assist in laboratory experiments, product trials, and process improvements under the supervision of senior R&D; staff, supporting innovation and development in chemical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Support
Conduct basic lab experiments as per instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Measure and mix chemical substances accurately for trials.
Record observations, test results, and maintain lab notebooks.
Product & Process Trials
Assist in product development and application testing under supervision.
Support scale-up activities from lab to pilot plant.
Data Collection & Documentation
Prepare test reports, maintain documentation, and help in compiling technical data.
Ensure accuracy and integrity in all recorded data.
Quality & Safety Compliance
Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE in lab and production areas.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the laboratory.
Cross-functional Coordination
Coordinate with the Production, Quality Control, and Purchase teams for materials and sample testing.




Assist in customer sample preparation or technical support when required.

Skills & Competencies
Strong theoretical knowledge in chemistry or chemical engineering principles
Basic laboratory skills and handling of glassware/instruments
Eagerness to learn new techniques and processes
Positive observation, documentation, and communication skills
Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word)
Understanding of safety practices in a chemical lab (preferred)

Candidates demonstrating initiative and learning agility can grow into roles such as R&D; Chemist, Process Development Executive, or Technical Officer within 2–3 years.
