Responsibilities
Format manuscripts into print-ready books (B5, A5 and other trim sizes) in Word (DOCX), including page setup, styles, headers, TOC and margins
Fix formatting issues such as list indentation, table fonts, numbering,
pagination and copyright pages
Work on Hindi and English titles, including Unicode and font consistency
Design print book covers using the brief from the editorial team
Check each file for consistency before it goes to the printer or Amazon
Keep the production tracker updated and coordinate with editors and authors
Requirements
Solid command of MS Word, especially styles, sections and table formatting
Working knowledge of Canva or similar for covers
Attention to detail and patience with long manuscripts
Ability to read and write Hindi and English
Basic understanding of print specifications and PDF print files
