Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers for fabrics, accessories, packaging materials and other production requirements.
Source materials at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.
Negotiate with vendors on pricing, payment terms, lead times and delivery schedules.
Prepare and manage purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials.
Coordinate with production, design and inventory teams to understand material requirements.
Monitor stock levels and plan purchases to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
Track pending orders, follow up with suppliers and ensure on-time deliveries.
Verify received materials against purchase orders and coordinate quality checks.
Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, invoices and purchase trackers.
Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns, shortages and delivery delays.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in procurement,



purchasing or supply chain operations.
Experience in textile, garment, manufacturing or packaging procurement is preferred.
Robust vendor sourcing, negotiation and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets for purchase tracking and reporting.
Basic understanding of inventory management, purchase orders and billing processes.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet deadlines.
Robust attention to detail, cost consciousness and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in Tamil and English preferred.

Preferred Candidate: A proactive, organised and detail-oriented individual who can independently manage day-to-day procurement, build reliable vendor relationships and ensure uninterrupted material availability for production. Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
