Key Responsibilities
Load Assessment &
Planning:

Calculate weight, size, shape, and the center of gravity for massive components to choose the correct lifting method.
Gear Selection &
Inspection:

Inspect wire ropes, synthetic slings, chains, shackles, hooks, and spreader bars for wear, cracks, or corrosion before every lift.
Lifting &
Positioning:

Attach hoists, wire ropes, and pulling gear to maneuver heavy sections aboard ships, into engine rooms, or in dry docks.
Cranes &
Signaling:

Guide crane or gantry operators using standard hand signals or radios during complex lifts, swings, and placements.
Specialized Marine Tasks: Lay out and handle lines during ship dry-docking operations and splice ropes or cables to make custom tackle.
Safety Compliance: Follow strict maritime and OSHA safety regulations, use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and work safely in confined spaces or at heights.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
