Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety or a relevant qualification
2–5 years of experience in EHS/Industrial Safety, preferably in API pharmaceutical
Experience
chemical handling safety
-fire safety -risk assessment
-permit-to-work systems
accident investigation, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
Ensure compliance with EHS policies and statutory safety regulations.
Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments.
Ensure proper use of PPE and secure handling of chemicals and solvents.
Monitor fire safety systems, emergency preparedness, and permit-to-work activities.
Investigate accidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions.
Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
Maintain safety records, reports, and statutory documentation.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and ETP teams to ensure workplace safety.
