Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with applicable EHS (Workplace, Health & Safety) regulations, the Factories Act, and internal safety procedures.
Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, safety audits, and regular plant inspections.
Monitor work permits and ensure safe execution of maintenance and other plant activities.
Inspect machinery, lifting tools, and equipment to ensure secure operations.
Investigate accidents and near-misses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct safety awareness sessions and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and documentation.
Desired Profile:
Relevant experience in EHS / Industrial Safety within a manufacturing environment.
Diploma or BE in Industrial Safety Management from a government-recognised institute.
Practical knowledge of factory safety, risk assessment, audits, and statutory compliance.
Robust communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
