Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics / Computer Science / IT / Telecom or equivalent
Job Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and implement server infrastructure solutions by selecting appropriate OS, virtualization platforms, and server configurations based on project requirements.
Install, configure, and deploy physical and virtual servers.
Configure and optimize servers for performance and security.
Perform regular server maintenance, including monitoring server health and applying updates and patches.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization to maintain high reliability and server performance.
Implement and enforce server security measures and industry best practices.
Maintain compliance with relevant security standards, OEM recommendations, and applicable regulations.
Monitor server capacity and usage trends.
Develop and maintain server backup solutions and validate restore procedures.
Required Skills:
Minimum 10 years of experience in Server Management / Server Administration.
Solid knowledge of server hardware, Windows and Linux operating systems.
Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware / Hyper-V.
Valuable knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related server administration technologies.
Experience with server monitoring tools, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of server security best practices.
Knowledge of server backup and restore procedures.
MCSE / MCSA or AZ-104 or equivalent industry certification is preferred/required.
