Role & responsibilities
Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, ledger entries, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process vendor invoices, customer payments, expense claims, and outstanding receivables.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports, expense statements, cash flow reports, and management reports.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
Taxation and Compliance: Support GST, TDS, income tax documentation, and other statutory compliance requirements applicable to the business.
Invoicing and Payments: Prepare invoices, verify payment requests, and coordinate with vendors and customers regarding outstanding balances.
Month-End and Year-End Closing: Assist with closing activities and preparation of financial statements.
Audit Support:



Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide necessary financial documents.
Expense Management: Monitor business expenses, verify supporting documents, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Financial Documentation: Maintain organized records of vouchers, invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents.
Coordination: Work closely with other departments to resolve finance-related queries and ensure timely financial processing.

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
MBA Finance, M.Com, or CA Inter qualification is an added advantage.
25 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
Valuable knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance, where applicable.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP/Prime, SAP, or Oracle.
