Trainee SOC Analyst Job Profile Monitor security alerts and events generated from SIEM, EDR, firewall, and security tools. Perform initial alert triage and identify suspicious activities requiring investigation. Analyze security logs from Windows, Linux, Active Directory, network devices, and cloud platforms. Assist in investigating security incidents such as malware, phishing, and unauthorized access attempts. Escalate confirmed security incidents to senior SOC analysts (L1/L2) as per defined procedures. Create and update incident tickets with accurate findings and observations. Follow SOC playbooks, SOPs, and incident response procedures. Monitor endpoint, network, email, and cloud security events. Prepare daily monitoring reports and maintain security documentation. Support 247 SOC operations and participate in shift handovers
