Required Skills
10+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019 or later).
Experience in query performance tuning and optimization using execution plans and indexing strategies.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Experience working with large datasets, data validation, and data quality management.
Solid understanding of: Database normalization and relational database design, Indexing and partitioning strategies, Database security best practices
Backup, recovery, and database maintenance
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Robust communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and database objects.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize slow-running queries and high-volume database operations.
Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes using SSIS and custom T-SQL solutions.




Implement and maintain indexing, partitioning, and database performance tuning strategies.
Create, maintain, and enhance reports using SSRS or integrate SQL Server data with reporting platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and reliability across databases and applications.
Collaborate with application development teams and business stakeholders to understand and deliver data solutions that meet business requirements.
Support database administration activities, including backup and restore operations, database migrations, deployments, and version control.
Monitor database performance and proactively identify prospects for optimization and process improvement.
Follow coding standards, documentation practices, and database security policies to ensure maintainable and secure solutions.
