Role & responsibilities
Assess patients' health conditions and monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.
Provide direct nursing care to patients as per prescribed treatment plans
Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments in accordance with medical orders and hospital protocols.
Perform nursing procedures within the scope of qualified competency and applicable regulations.
Follow hand hygiene, infection control, and standard precaution protocols.
Ensure proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste, sharps, and contaminated materials.
Adhere to patient identification, fall prevention, pressure injury prevention, and other patient safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the patient care area and nursing equipment.
Report incidents, near misses, and safety concerns in accordance with hospital policy
