Roles and Responsibilities
Design and develop electronic circuits and PCBs (schematics, layout, component selection) for industrial and marine products.
Write, test and debug embedded C/C++ firmware for microcontrollers and interface sensors and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485/Modbus).
Build, solder and test prototypes using lab equipment, and document test results for each revision.
Support field trials and installations, and troubleshoot and repair faulty devices.
Source components and PCB fabrication, and maintain design files, BOMs and manuals.
Required Skills
Must have: robust understanding of microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, ESP32, AVR/Arduino), including architecture, peripherals, interrupts and timers, with hands-on programming experience.
Embedded C/C++ programming and debugging.
Circuit design and PCB layout (KiCad, Altium, Eagle or similar).
Soldering (including SMD) and use of a multimeter, oscilloscope and logic analyser.
Valuable English proficiency for documentation and vendor communication.
