About the Role
Junior Backend Developer
We are looking for a Backend Developer who can contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable backend systems and APIs.
Key expectations:
Solid programming fundamentals and understanding of backend application development.
Experience with Java and Spring Boot would be preferred.
Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
Valuable understanding of relational databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL.
Understanding of data structures, API design, authentication, caching, and database concepts.
Ability to debug production issues and write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, microservices, messaging systems, Docker, or Kubernetes would be an advantage.
Ability to work closely with senior engineers and gradually take independent ownership of services/modules.
