Role Summary

We are looking for a Voice Engineer with hands-on Oracle SBC experience to manage enterprise SIP Trunks, voice connectivity, troubleshooting, and L2/L3 support.

Key Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle SBC.
Work on SIP Trunks, SIP routing, Realms, Session Agents, and Local Policies.
Configure and troubleshoot SIP Header Manipulation (HMR).
Engineering HLD/LLD creation
Analyze SIP call flows and troubleshoot call failures.
Troubleshoot one-way/no audio, DTMF, codec, CLI/DID, and RTP issues.
Perform Wireshark/PCAP analysis for SIP and RTP troubleshooting.
Coordinate with customers, carriers, network teams, and OEMs.
Handle critical voice incidents and prepare RCA reports.
Support Oracle SBC changes, migrations, upgrades, and HA environments where applicable.

Configure and support Oracle Communications SBC in enterprise and telecom environments.
Configure and troubleshoot:
Session Agents
Realms
SIP Interfaces
Local Policies
Session Agent Groups, where applicable
SIP Trunks
SIP routing
SIP monitoring and OPTIONS-based reachability
Configure inbound and outbound SIP traffic flows between:




Enterprise IP-PBX
SIP Trunk providers
Carrier networks
UC platforms
Voice application platforms
Perform Oracle SBC configuration changes, service activation, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Support SBC redundancy/high-availability configurations where deployed.
Participate in Oracle SBC upgrades, migrations, expansions, and configuration changes.

Mandatory Skills
3–6 years of Voice/SIP Engineering experience.
Solid hands-on Oracle SBC experience.
Solid knowledge of SIP and RTP.
Experience with SIP Trunking.
Hands-on knowledge of Session Agents, Realms, Local Policy, and HMR.
Strong Wireshark/PCAP troubleshooting skills.
Valuable understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, Firewalls, and Routing.
Strong customer handling and troubleshooting skills.

Good to Have
Oracle SBC HA experience
Microsoft Teams / IP-PBX integration
SIP over TLS / SRTP
Carrier interconnect experience
Linux and basic scripting knowledge

Education Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
