AutoCAD Product Designer

Designation: AutoCAD Designer / Product Design Engineer

Department: Product Development / R&D;

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Job Location: Surat, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities
Create and modify 2D technical drawings and 3D product models using AutoCAD.
Develop detailed product drawings with dimensions, tolerances and specifications.
Support recent product development, design modifications and product improvement activities.
Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings and exploded views wherever required.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality and other relevant teams for product development.
Review product dimensions, materials and design feasibility before production.
Support prototype development, sample evaluation and design validation.
Maintain updated drawings,



revision records and technical documentation.
Identify design errors and implement modifications based on feedback.
Assist in preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product specifications, where required.

Required Technical Skills
Robust working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
Understanding of technical drawings, dimensioning, tolerances and engineering standards.
Knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and product specifications.
Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Skills
Experience with SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or Fusion 360.
Knowledge of plastic moulding, metal fabrication or consumer-product manufacturing.
