About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Fabric Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cloud data engineering, data modeling, and analytics, with a focus on implementing scalable and effective data platforms. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, supporting data modernization initiatives, and ensuring data governance and security.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement end-to-end data solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies.
Build scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Real-Time Analytics solutions.
Participate in data modernization and migration projects from legacy systems to Azure Fabric.
Design data models, integration patterns, and governance frameworks to ensure data quality and security.
Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Support data governance, data security, and compliance initiatives.
Assist in reviewing code and architecture designs to ensure best practices.
Work closely with project teams to deliver solutions within timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills
4 to 8 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or related fields.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services.
Proficiency in:
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
Azure Synapse Analytics
Power BI
SQL and Data Modeling
ETL/ELT Design and Development
Understanding of Lakehouse architecture and modern data ecosystems.
Experience in performance tuning, data quality, and data governance.
Positive stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Databricks, Spark, and Python.
Knowledge of AI/ML and advanced analytics.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Azure and Microsoft Fabric certifications are a plus.
Experience working with global teams and clients.
