Job Description / Responsibilities
Responsible for mechanical maintenance of TMT Rolling Mill equipment.
Perform breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability.
Conduct inspection and maintenance of gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings and Cardan shafts.
Perform Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), vibration monitoring and precision laser shaft alignment.
Coordinate manpower allocation and supervise maintenance activities.
Prepare daily maintenance reports and maintain maintenance schedules using Microsoft Excel.
Support shutdown planning, maintenance execution and equipment inspection.
Coordinate with stores for spare parts availability and maintenance materials.
Identify recurring mechanical problems and support root cause analysis to improve equipment performance.
