JOB DESCRIPTION – JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, billing, banking transactions, GST compliance, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally accounting software and a good understanding of accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions using Tally.
Prepare sales invoices, purchase bills, and other billing documents.
Handle e-invoicing and e-way bill generation.
Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
Manage banking transactions, bank reconciliations, and payment follow-ups.
Assist with GST return preparation and filing.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
Verify invoices, vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.
Maintain proper filing of financial documents and accounting records.
Assist with monthly account closing and preparation of financial reports.

Educational Qualifications
Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.





Required Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong working knowledge of Tally accounting software.
Practical experience in billing, e-invoicing, and e-way bill generation.
Knowledge of GST returns and statutory compliance.
Experience in banking transactions and bank reconciliation.
Good data entry skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic MS Office applications.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.

Language Requirements

Preference will be given to candidates who can communicate in:
English
Tamil
Telugu
Hindi

Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates currently residing in or near Kolathur, Chennai, are preferred.
Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Candidates should be responsible, organized, and capable of working independently.

Salary and Advantages
Salary: Up to ₹4.2 LPA, depending on experience and skills.
Full-time employment.

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
