Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Must be from automotive OEM (Passenger vehicle) company with minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing Quality
Holding Degree in Mechanical
Hands on experience of BIW Manufacturing processes
Understanding of Spot welding, C02 Welding, VIN Machine , Robotic Hemming , Adhesives, Welding Fixtures
Knowledge/Know-how of Body shop Indicators like Gap & Flushness (1D), Dimensional integrity (3D CMM) , Stack up Tolerance (GD&T;)
Knowledge of Proactive systems like Poka-Yoke, Traceability , Zero defect stages / Operator, Human Error Prevention .
Handling of Next customer issues (Paint , TCF & PQA)- root cause analysis and action planning with horizontal deployment.
Handling of field concerns- root cause analysis and action planning with horizontal deployment.
Knowledge of Recent product development (NPD) process. Should able to handle FTR related to BIW changes.
Participate in various CFTs like EN, DCP, MPPAP, etc
Managing & strengthening of BIW checks at EOL inspection.
Carry out process and product audits as per plan and getting closure of audit observations.
Ensure right quality of outgoing vehicles.
Managing shop Quality indicators.
Communicate shop / plant actions on product issues to internal & external customers.
Guide Team / associates in their routine activities
Co-Ordinate to resolve chronic concerns through QC story Approach
Work with related stake holders (Like PE, CME, PVT , Design) for chronic concern resolution
