Position: Visual Arts Facilitator- PYP

Job Purpose :

To facilitate inquiry-based visual arts learning experiences that foster creativity, imagination, critical thinking, artistic expression, and cultural awareness, aligned with the IB PYP framework.

Key Responsibilities :
Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate visual arts experiences using diverse media and techniques.
Integrate visual arts into transdisciplinary units of inquiry through collaborative planning with homeroom teachers.
Promote student agency, creativity, experimentation, and independent artistic expression.
Develop students’ understanding of art concepts, techniques, and diverse cultural perspectives.
Assess and document student learning through observation, reflection, feedback, and portfolios.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating art learning setting.




Manage art resources and encourage sustainable use of materials.
Contribute to exhibitions, school events, collaborative planning, and career development.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
Experience teaching visual arts at the primary level desirable.
Familiarity with the IB PYP framework and inquiry-based learning preferred.
