Role Overview

We are looking for a Semi-Qualified Accountant with strong fundamentals in accounting and hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL) management. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day GL operations, month-end closing and reconciliations, and for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial books in Tally and ERP.

Key Responsibilities – GL & Accounting

General Ledger (GL) Accounting
Manage complete GL accounting, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments and provisions.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of books.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations — bank, vendor, customer, inter-company, loans and other accounts.
Review and post entries related to purchases, sales,



expenses and fixed assets.
Maintain the Chart of Accounts and ensure correct accounting heads are used.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and other statutory requirements in accounting.
Prepare monthly MIS, schedules and supporting documentation for financial reporting.
Assist in internal and statutory audits — preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit queries.
Identify gaps in existing processes and suggest improvements to reduce manual intervention.

Required Skills
Semi-Qualified CA / CMA / MBA in Finance with 3–5 years of experience in GL accounting
Robust knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST and TDS.
Hands-on experience in Tally and ERP systems.
Advanced Excel skills — VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, etc.
Valuable communication and stakeholder management skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
