Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to edit long-form podcast episodes and create short-form clips optimized for digital platforms. The ideal candidate has experience editing professional interviews or educational content and understands pacing, clarity, and clean visual presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Long-Form Editing
Edit 45–90 minute podcast episodes
Improve pacing and remove filler content
Add intros, outros, lower thirds, name titles, and branding elements
Enhance audio clarity and basic color correction
Deliver final exports for YouTube
Short-Form Content
Create 5–10 short clips per episode for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
Add accurate subtitles (medical terminology awareness preferred)
Required Skills
Minimum 2 years of video editing experience
Experience editing podcasts, interviews, or educational content
Proficiency in:
Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro
Basic motion graphics (After Effects preferred)
Strong understanding of audio clean-up
Ability to meet deadlines consistently
Comfortable working remotely
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, biotech, research, or startup content
Multi-camera editing experience
Basic YouTube optimization knowledge
