Reviewing and selecting footage from raw material/rushes
Cutting and assembling footage in a logical sequence
Adding transitions, effects, music, and sound effects
Color correction and color grading
Ensuring smooth audio transitions and levels
Following creative briefs and maintaining brand/style guidelines
Meeting project deadlines and managing multiple projects
Collaborating with directors, producers, and other team members
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (like Adobe Premiere Pro)
Understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression
Basic sound editing and mixing capabilities
Knowledge of visual effects and motion graphics
File management and archiving expertise
