Job Responsibilities
Prepare 2D engineering drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant CAD software.
Develop detailed mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing drawings.
Interpret engineering specifications, technical drawings, and design requirements.
Prepare component drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
Coordinate with production, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure design accuracy.
Revise and update drawings based on engineering changes and customer requirements.
Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards and company specifications.
Maintain drawing records, design documents, and technical files.
Support production teams in resolving design and drawing-related issues.
Ensure timely completion of assigned design and drafting projects.
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
Knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
Understanding of mechanical engineering drawings and GD&T.;
Knowledge of engineering materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Qualification
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in design and drafting, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing company.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
