JOB DESCRIPTION – WAITER / WAITRESS

Position: Waiter / Waitress
Department: Food & Beverage / Service
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: As per vacancy
Experience: 0–2 years preferred; Freshers can apply

Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide professional table service.
Present menus and explain food and beverage items when required.
Take accurate food and beverage orders.
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and organized.
Check on guests during meals and respond to their requests.
Coordinate with the kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth service.
Clear tables and clean the dining/service area.
Handle guest queries and complaints politely and report issues to the supervisor.
Prepare and maintain service areas before and after shifts.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards.
Assist with billing and payment collection when required.





Requirements
Positive communication and customer-service skills.
Pleasant personality and qualified appearance.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
Team-oriented, punctual, and disciplined.
Previous hotel, restaurant, café, or hospitality experience is an advantage.
Freshers with a positive attitude may also apply.
