Hiring: Lead DBA – Oracle Expert

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead DBA – Oracle Expert with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud database technologies. The ideal candidate should have proven experience leading DBA teams and managing mission-critical production database settings.

Required Experience & Technical Skills
Oracle Database Administration: 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle DBA, including Oracle 19c or later.
Team Leadership: Minimum 2+ years of experience leading DBA teams and coordinating database operations.
Oracle Technologies: Solid expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, AWR/ASH, and GoldenGate.
Production Database Management: Hands-on experience in backup and recovery, database migration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Other Databases: Valuable working knowledge of MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.
Cloud Databases: Experience with AWS RDS and Aurora is required; knowledge of GCP is an added advantage.




Distributed Technologies: Working knowledge of Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ETCD.
Automation & Scripting: Experience with Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, Terraform, and Git.

Educational Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage DBA operations, ensuring database availability, reliability, security, and performance.
Design, implement, and maintain Oracle database environments, including RAC and Data Guard.
Manage database backup, recovery, disaster recovery, migration, and upgrade activities.
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot complex production issues.
Implement database automation using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Support cloud database environments and collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
Mentor DBA team members and ensure adherence to database administration best practices.

Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
