Job Description – Electrical & Instrument Technician

Experience: 2–5 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
Location: BSP (Bhilai Steel Plant)

Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Handle electrical motors, control panels, switchgear, and power distribution systems.
Install and maintain field instruments such as pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, flow meters, and level transmitters.
Perform instrument calibration, loop checking, and continuity testing.
Assist in cable laying, cable termination, glanding, and electrical wiring.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation loop diagrams.




Identify faults and ensure timely breakdown maintenance.
Follow site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and permit-to-work systems.
Coordinate with engineers and supervisors for project erection, testing, and commissioning activities.

Required Skills
Practical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Experience in thermal power plants, PSU projects, or industrial sites preferred.
Knowledge of testing tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, and calibration instruments.
Ability to work at project sites and follow safety standards.

Pay: ₹8,800.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
