JOB DESCRIPTION – SWEET MAKER

Position: Sweet Maker / Halwai

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sweet Maker (Halwai) who can prepare a wide variety of traditional Indian sweets while maintaining excellent taste, quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare different types of Indian sweets such as Rasgulla, Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai, Barfi, Peda, Ladoo, Jalebi, Kaju sweets, Halwa, etc.
Prepare sweets according to standard recipes and required quantities.
Ensure consistent taste, texture, freshness, and presentation.
Handle ingredients such as milk, khoya, paneer, sugar, dry fruits, flour, ghee, and other raw materials.
Prepare sweets for daily production, events, functions, and bulk orders.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and equipment.
Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients.
Minimize wastage and maintain proper portion control.
Store prepared sweets and ingredients properly.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards.




Coordinate with kitchen staff and management regarding production requirements.

Required Skills
Good knowledge of traditional Indian sweets and desserts.
Strong knowledge of sweet-making techniques.
Ability to work efficiently during high-volume production.
Valuable understanding of ingredient measurements and cooking temperatures.
Creativity in sweet presentation and recent product preparation.
Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
Ability to work as part of a team.

Eligibility
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Experience in a sweet shop, hotel, restaurant, bakery, catering company, or food production unit will be an advantage.
Candidates with strong practical skills may be considered based on their expertise.
