About the Role

Proxgy is looking for a Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer to lead electronics development for its detachable switch product. The role involves taking hardware from concept and prototyping through testing, validation, and mass production.

Key Responsibilities
Define hardware architecture based on product requirements and mechanical constraints.
Design and review schematics and PCBs for MCU-based embedded products.
Select electronic components and manage BOMs.
Develop and debug power supply circuits, relays, switches, and related electronic systems.
Lead PCB prototyping, bring-up, functional testing, and hardware validation.
Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to ensure seamless product integration.
Drive design for manufacturing (DFM), design for testing (DFT), and production readiness.
Coordinate with PCB manufacturers, vendors, and manufacturing partners.
Support EMI/EMC testing, BIS requirements, product certification, and compliance.

Requirements




4–7 years of hands-on experience in embedded hardware design and electronics product development.
Must have independently taken at least one hardware product from concept/prototype to mass production.
Solid experience in schematic design, PCB design/review, component selection, and hardware debugging.
Experience with MCU-based products, power supplies, relays, and switching circuits.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, DFM/DFT, and product validation.
Experience working with firmware and mechanical engineering teams.
Familiarity with EMI/EMC, BIS, and product certification requirements.

Positive to Have

Experience with BLE, Wi-Fi/RF, IoT devices, or consumer electronics product development.

Pay: ₹486,000.00 - ₹1,640,000.00 per year
